Educators can obtain our cases free of charge, simply by registering with us. Each case is supplemented with instructional materials, consisting of a comprehensive teaching note (as a PDF download), and presentation slides (available in both PPT and PPTX formats).
To gain access to these instructional materials, educators need to complete a simple verification process - just email us a scanned copy of your business card and let us know your AITCS username! An email will be sent to you at the address indicated on your business card once your registration is successful!
Writing a Case for AITCS

The teaching case should be limited to approxmiately 7,000 words, including all tables, figures footnotes and references (excluding exhibits), and the teaching note should be no more than 4,000 words.

Barney Tan Chee Chang is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Information Systems, School of Computing at the National University of Singapore. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004 where he received his Bachelor of Computing (Hons) degree in Information Systems. Bernard C.Y. Tan is a Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is President-Elect of the Association for Information Systems. He has served on the editorial boards of MIS Quarterly (Senior Editor), Journal of the AIS (Senior Editor), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (Department Editor), Management Science (Associate Editor), and Journal of Management Information Systems (Associate Editor). Dr. Tan was a winner of the NUS Outstanding Educator Award (2004) (the highest university teaching award) and the NUS Young Researcher Award (2002) (the highest university research award for faculty members below age 40). He has been a visiting scholar in the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Calvin is a Manager in the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore and a BSc (Hon) in Computer and Management Science from the University of Warwick in UK. His research interests include e-government, information systems implementation and the strategic management of information systems. He was previously an Instructor with the School of Computing as well as an Adjunct Professional Staff with the Institute of Systems Sciences in the National University of Singapore. Eileen is the Director of the IT division of Chio Lim Stone Forest (CLSF). She manages 4 service areas – IT Advisory, Systems Consulting & Development, ACCPAC Care and IT Infrastructure Services – as well as oversees other IT businesses for CLSF. Her role is mainly in business development and collaboration with partners. A qualified accountant by training, Eileen is also heavily involved in IT and retail consultancy work. Her forte is in retail, followed by other industries like service, sales and distribution. Her accounting background honed her skills in evaluating business feasibility and complemented her IT work. Together with her strong interest in IT, she has a clear understanding of processes and methodologies that allows her to advise clients on IT solutions. Eileen’s list of clients ranges from international firms to local and listed companies. Prior to her appointment, she has been involved in regional project management since 2000, providing retail consultancy to a number of well-known international retailers in the region. She had also been with the Accountant-General’s Department, handling financial work, budgeting, planning and internal audit.

Mamata Bhandar is an Assistant Professor in U21 Global, in the School of Business, Information Systems Management Department. As part of her doctoral studies she had conducted cases studies in Singaporean local firms and multinational companies engaged in collaborative IT projects to understand Knowledge Integration and the role of social capital in them. Ravi is a lecturer in strategy at The Business School, Loughborough University, UK. He received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Bangalore University, India and a Ph.D. degree in Management Information Systems from the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests include strategic offshoring, e-governance in developing nations, competition between indigenous and multinational firms in offshoring scenarios and issues of identity in large organizations. Paul Devadoss is currently Lecturer at the Department of Management Science, Lancaster University Management School. He completed his PhD in Information Systems at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He is interested in organizational systems and the engagement of users in enacting various forms of technology use in organizations. In addition, he researches the impact of technology use in organizational contexts using social theories. He has conducted several case studies in Singapore, and is currently conducting several research case studies in India and elsewhere. S. Sathish is a doctoral research scholar in the Department of Information Systems, School of Computing, National University of Singapore. Say Yen is currently a Lecturer in the School of Business Information Technology, RMIT University. She holds a PhD in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore and a BBus Com (Hons) from the Monash University. She is interested in exploring the effective and efficient use of medical informatics, with regards to issues relating to the development of methods and strategies in the healthcare sector. Shan-Ling Pan is the coordinator of the Asian IT Case Series, NUS. He is a faculty member in the Department of Information Systems, School of Computing, National University of Singapore. His research interests include enterprise system implementation, eGovernment, IT-enabled organizational transformation and knowledge management. As a case study researcher, Dr. Pan has conducted and published more than 30 case studies on Asian organizations. He has published two case books in 2004 and 2006: "Managing Strategic Enterprise Systems and E-Government Initiatives in Asia: A Casebook" and "Managing Emerging Technologies and Organizational Transformation in Asia: A Casebook".
